Get Rich Spruiker Stuart Zadel in trouble for passing off Napoleon Hill

Get Rich Spruiker Stuart Zadel is reportedly in trouble for passing off on the good works of Napoleon Hill now deceased who wrote the famous book Think and Grow Rich which sold in excess of 15 million copies.

Even though the book is now public domain Stuart Zadel's company TGR Pty Ltd has been running seminars around Australia for several years passing off illegally on the good name and reputation of Napoleon Hill's works by allegedly deceiving the general public that he is authorised or endorsed or has the exclusive rights to Napoleon Hills Think and Grow Rich.

We've received numerous complaints from consumers who not only feel misled by Zadel but have been apparently pressured into signing up for expensive courses at his seminars and had difficulties getting refunds.

Consumer Warning commenced investigations into Zadel's get rich quick operation recently and contacted both the Napoleon Hill Foundation and Ralston Society.

We we're able to obtain that Stuart Zadel doesn't have the exclusive rights whatsoever to use the name think and grow rich as a business name nor for seminars but is held by another party who is considering legal action against Zadel.

This didn't stop Zadel sneaking off to the trade mark department and claiming a Trade Mark on a name that is in the Public Domain for his personal exclusive use.

We've been informed the Trade Mark Department is now reviewing this matter.

Consumer Warning reccomends to be careful when dealing with such organisations that allegedly deceive consumers and use high pressure sales tactics at seminars and fail to provide adequate consumer protection.

We've been informed the ACCC is also been made aware of Zadel's actions.

Also we have been updated that the Napoleon Hill Foundation is engaging Claytons Utz in Australia to pursue Zadel for his blatant abuse of the Think and Grow Rich brand.
